We purchased the guest house in 2003 and renamed it to The White House which is obvious from its appearance. A brief history of the house is as follows :- |
Built circa. 1850 as a farm Manor House. In the early 1900’s it was the village store. |
Shortly after being the village stores it became the village Post Office. In 1986 the shop was closed and a family house created once more. With the turn of the latest century the house was converted into a guest house. |
Current accommodation consists of 3 bedrooms - 2 doubles and 1 twin, all en-suite. We also have a self-contained self-catering annexe available. |
There is a separate Dining Room / Lounge for the guests to use with selection of games available. On arrival, tea and coffee available on request. |
Secure parking for cars and garage for cycles/motor bikes. Use of rear garden and Summer house. |
